Android Latest Version (Marshmallow 6.0) Is Not Coming Any Soon On Popular Devices

Android Marshmallow
Last year in October Google has launched a new version of their mobile operating system renowned as Android 6.0 Marshmallow. At that time, it was assumed that all android smartphone users will surely use that new version of operating system on their mobile devices, but that thing not happened. Android users don’t show their interest in that new version and it might because of the reason; at that time, only 0.7 percent of total existing android devices can be updated to that new version. In recent months, Google has tracked town the Marshmallow adoption rate and they figure out that less than one percent of the android users shows their willingness to but most of them cannot be able to install it because of the problems in their devices or wireless carrier problem.

Mobile Phone Manufactures and wireless network carrier always test new versions of android whenever they come into the market and test process is implemented on each kind of android device available in the market. The whole process is time-consuming. In a case of Marshmallow 6.0, that process will be repeated by the both stakeholders (Google and Device Manufacturer) to remove any chance of up gradation problems and mishaps in future. That factor has increased the frustration among android users because they might have to wait for weeks or months. Although rollout processing of Marshmallow is fast as compared to its previous versions as they take months to complete roll out process.

On the other hand, that new version of Android operating system (Marshmallow 6.0) is pre-installed on Google New Nexus 5x and Nexus 6P. LG is also providing that new version of android on their G4 smartphones but that facility is only provided in Poland. Another major reason why that version is not getting enough popularity is because users still give preference to the old versions of Android especially (Android Lollipop); that is installed on 32.6 % on overall smartphone mobile devices.

Other mobile phone devices manufacturers like Motorola, Sony and Samsung will also start the roll out process of Android new version (Marshmallow 6.0) in upcoming months of 2016. Android fans just have to wait for some months so that roll out process completes and, they get a new version of android on their favorite devices. Eventually, that long wait will turn out to be in a good thing for both users and device manufacturers. From the point of view of Google if that version of android got success as their old versions then, in that case, they have the chance to maximize their profits to a new level.
